thanatology, a master's degree in education and certificates of
study in the art therapies. In 1990 Anne co-founded The HEALS Program,
a school-based bereavement and death crisis project. Subsequently
in 1993, The Center for Creative Healing, a non-profit organization,
was formed to support and strengthen children and their families

Argentina to attend. Since 1996, Ms. Black has been serving as president

of loss and transition topics.
On
a personal note, Anne's 47 year old brother, Jay, died on the 17th
of December 1998 after a valiant, two-year struggle with cancer.
Anne
lives and works in Brattleboro, Vermont where Comfort Baskets were
first developed.
